In the Heart of Bohol Island

Hello all,

I just wanted to give you a glimpse into the magical world of Bohol, a ridiculously beautiful island in the land of the Philippines.

In the month of November, I (Andrew) will be traveling to this wonderful land twice in support of Jude, our new chapter leader. He is cutting his teeth…getting his chops…growing his capacity as a leader and one of his first tasks is to make some events happen in his region.

One great benefit to our expansion is that we have to figure out a process of growing in new areas of the world that actually works. This process must also be simple and repeatable. When I was trying to explain to Jude what each chapter should be focusing on, it went a little like this:

Events → Programs → Healed people → Volunteers (Facilitators/Mentors)

That is essentially what we’re doing with High Noon. Creating events so that people join our programs in order to have healed people who hopefully help others follow in a similar path.

And so it goes. We held an event in Bohol.

This is Bohol (I didn’t manage to take a photo from the airplane…so I got this from google)

Jude did a great job organizing. This event was perfect for him too, because nothing was either straightforward or easy. We had to adapt, and adapt we did.

Jude and I bringing fire to the people :)

One very important point to bring up is that fact that this region of the Philippines just happens to be a major training ground for young leadership. Upwards of 60% of the present leaders in the country came from this little island.

What a place.

The entire weekend actually evolved into a training session for these young leaders to inculcate the 5 High Noon Virtues and it was very well received.

I could see that at the core of what High Noon provides as an organization is basic life training. It is applicable to anyone, anywhere - provided they want to live a fulfilled and connected life.

I can really feel that the future is in good hands when I meet such bright young leaders. With the tools that High Noon provides, they will be incorruptible forces of good in this ever changing world.

Thanks for reading.
