Questions & Answers

  • Yes. We will provide you with all the tools you need to quit porn and build your sexual integrity, but it’s ultimately up to you to put in the work.
Keep in mind that personal growth and building sexual integrity is a marathon, not a sprint.
There will be ups and downs and you may find that one quarter of Ascend may not get you to the place you want to be, and that’s okay.
We encourage participants to join an Ascend group as many times as they need to develop confidence in their sexual integrity.

  • Having sexual integrity is worth the small time investment, don’t you think?
The daily accountability check-in (by text) takes about 5–10 minutes.
Your group will meet once a week at a regular time for 60-90 minutes (at a time that works for you).
You will also need to take some time to go over the lesson for the week, which should take about 15 minutes per week on average.

  • The deposit will be refunded 100% after you complete the program. If you cannot afford the deposit, please email us at admin@highnoon.org, so that we can make an arrangement for you.

  • Your group members and your mentor are the only ones who know you are in the Ascend program. We ask all participants to have their cameras on during the group calls. However, everything that is shared in the group stays in the group. We take our participants’ confidentiality seriously.

  • The program runs for 13 weeks.

  • Ascend is free! But we do ask for a deposit that will be refunded after the program. When you finish the program, you will get a 100% refund.

  • Most participants are in their 20s or 30s.
Groups are generally separated by demographic such as singles, couples, parents, and 50+.
It is likely that the participants in a group of choice are close in age.

  • If you are willing to be honest and vulnerable, and willing to learn then you can certainly gain something from Ascend. The group is a place for self-realization and support. This is possible through practicing honesty and extending grace to yourself and others. Being honest can include sharing how you cannot share more about a certain point, or about how you have too many overwhelming emotions. In the past, we have recommended people to seek out a therapist if they feel like they need more support.

  • Please don’t hesitate to contact us at admin@highnoon.org. We would be happy to meet with you one-on-one and discuss your options for the time being. If you miss the registration deadline within a week or so, we may be able to find space for you in a group regardless.

  • Yes! Please do not hesitate to reach out to any one of the staff and we’ll be happy to meet with you one-on-one.

  • We believe that faith and spirituality play important roles in the process of recovery. Throughout our curriculum, there are a few mentionings of prayer and other spiritual practices. It is common for our facilitators to start and end their calls with a short prayer. We welcome people from all faith communities.
