Children are the silent victims of porn. Not just the children who get abused and photographed and raped, but also your children. Children who grow up in a culture that tolerates sexual crime are always in danger.
You can put filters on your internet devices, but you can't do that for your children's friends. You can put a tracker on their phone and keychain, but you won't always know where they are or what they're doing. We have to educate our children about the dangers of porn, but we also have to fight for culture change.
The Real Picture of Porn
We need to expose pornography for what it is – a lie! It doesn't make people happy. It doesn't make relationships better. There’s no respect for self or others. Porn is the opposite of love.
Porn promotes pain and violence. Online porn is addictive and causes the user to need increasing levels of aggressive or perverse images to get the same level of stimulation. Someone who would never consider abusing a child sexually may eventually find themselves viewing child porn. It breeds sexual dysfunction and destroys marriages and families.
